As a key member of our Agro Centre team, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of our agricultural operations. Leadership and Team Management

You will provide leadership to the Agro Centre team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members. Your ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with colleagues to deliver solutions will be essential in achieving our goals.

Customer Relationships and Sales

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and executing sales strategies to drive business growth. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service will be critical in achieving our sales targets.

Marketing and Merchandising

You will oversee the execution of marketing and merchandising initiatives, including displays, promotions, and pricing. Your ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions will be essential in driving business growth.

Safety and Environmental Responsibility

You will ensure that all safety, environmental, and asset protection policies and procedures are implemented and maintained. Your ability to identify and mitigate risks will be critical in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Budgeting and Financial Management

You will prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals related to pricing, sales margins, expenses, and inventory. Your ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions will be essential in driving business growth.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in Agriculture
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Honesty and trustworthiness, with a results-oriented approach and a commitment to excellence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues
