Job Title: Executive Director

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our team at Connecting Dots - Innisfail. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to our team, ensuring the successful implementation of our organizational policies and programs.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to achieve our goals, including human, financial, and material resources.
  • Department Management: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Representation: Represent our organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives as needed.
  • Staff Management: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff, providing them with the necessary authority and support.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Work Setting: Child care centre.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, and a team player.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
