Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the activities and job performance of Security Officers assigned to our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training to Security Officers
- Ensure all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift
- Ensure site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and hospital security policies and procedures
- Plan and implement shift work schedules
- Ensure all Security Officers have received the mandatory training
- Motivate staff and issue commendations
- Discipline staff when necessary and ensure proper documentation is passed onto head office
- Attend to attendance management
- Perform security audits
- Document and investigate security incidents and complaints
- Communicate any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager
- At least two years' healthcare security experience in a team lead role
- Post Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
- International Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) certificate
- Extensive paid industry training
