Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of security guards, providing guidance and support to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular patrols of client properties, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing effective and efficient solutions to minimize disruption and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of security services.
  • Monitor and analyze security data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance security services.
  • Develop and implement training programs for security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to management and clients.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the security industry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in security.
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
  • Proof of Covid-19 double vaccination (2 doses minimum).
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written).
  • Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Certification Requirements:
  • 2 years of security supervisor experience.
  • 3 years of security experience.
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C.
  • Valid Ontario Security License.
