Crescent Oral Surgery is a fast-paced Oral and Maxillofacial surgical clinic providing trusted care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to work at our Richmond Hill location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment and medications for surgical procedures
- Review patients' history and conduct patient assessment
- IV insertion and administration of medications
- Patient monitoring during sedation
- Post-operative recovery and discharge
- Patient care calls
- Surgical assisting
- Maintain medication and equipment inventory
Requirements:
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required
- Candidates must be currently registered with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing
- Previous oral surgery experience is required
- Previous experience in surgery, emergency room, ICU, PACU or critical care an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Good organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently and as a part of a team within nursing scope of practice
