Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Langstaff Square Community. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality resident care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan resident needs, deliver skilled procedures, and administer medication in accordance with quality management, legislative requirements, and Sienna Senior Living standards.
  • Collaborate with residents or their substitute decision makers to understand their needs, preferences, and health status.
  • Develop and evaluate plans of care, goals of care with residents or their substitute decision makers.
  • Provide supervision, assistance, and oversight to nursing team members.
  • Act as a role model for nursing team members and participate in conferences with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse or the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Knowledgeable with nursing process, developments, and current trends in the geriatric care field.
  • Compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living with comfort, dignity, and respect.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated administrative and computer skills with experience in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and organize work in response to patient needs.
