About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Humpty's Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Operations and Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory and records to ensure efficient operations.
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent service.
    • Manage kitchen operations, including maintaining a clean and safe environment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership and Communication
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless service and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
    • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety.
