Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 6347666 Manitoba Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation and service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Operational Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that our culinary operations are financially sustainable.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
    • Prepare and submit reports, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately recorded and communicated.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
    • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team development.
    Working Conditions
    • 40 hours per week.
    • Permanent position.
    • Work Language: English.
