About the Role

The Mental Health Nurse Specialist will provide professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment
  • Perform all related job responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served
Requirements
  • Must have current Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Successfully passed the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX-RN)
  • Must obtain ACLS & American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire
