As a Pharmacy Technician Student, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team in dispensing medications and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions
  • Operate a VBM machine for blister packing
  • Use computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
  • Order supplies and drugs
  • Maintain and count inventory
  • Receive, load, and unload deliveries
  • Answer customer inquiries by phone
  • Prepare, pre-pack, assemble, and label medicines
  • Perform general cleaning and housekeeping tasks
  • Refer problems or queries to the pharmacist
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a Registered Pharmacy Technician program
  • Experience with Sobeys National Pharmacy Group Computer systems (Kroll software preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
