Pharmacy Technician Student Opportunity

Sobeys Inc., a leading Canadian company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Student to join our team at Lawtons Drugs. As a Pharmacy Technician Student, you will play a vital role in supporting our dispensary team and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with blister packing using a VBM machine
  • Operate computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
  • Order supplies and drugs
  • Maintain and count inventory
  • Receive, load, and unload deliveries
  • Answer phone inquiries
  • Prepare, pre-pack, assemble, and label medicines
  • Perform general cleaning and housekeeping tasks
  • Refer problems or queries to the pharmacist
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a Registered Pharmacy Technician program
  • Experience with Sobeys National Pharmacy Group Computer systems (Kroll software preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team
