Are you passionate about public service and committed to delivering exceptional results? Do you have a strong background in research and data analysis? We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Asset Researcher to join our team at the City of Calgary.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site visits to collect and analyze asset data, including equipment information and building measurements.
- Perform data analysis and synthesis to provide insights and recommendations to the Facility Asset Management team.
- Update and extract information from internal systems, such as CAD Drawing Inventory and inforEAM.
- Liaise with other departments, business units, and operations staff to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Conduct research on best practices and trends in asset management and compile findings for the team.
- A diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in asset management; OR a degree in a related field.
- Experience with research, analysis, and data synthesis, as well as proficiency in EAM software.
- A valid Class 5 Licence or Graduate Driver's Licence and the use of a personal vehicle is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
