Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at WORLD FOOD NETWORK INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Food and Service Quality
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Language
    • English

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
