Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a skilled and efficient team
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance to inform business decisions
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at Subway, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with customers, staff, and management to ensure seamless operations. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
