Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at WORLD FOOD NETWORK INC. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food and services.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and controlling costs.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
