About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Rider team at Lyft. As a key member of our data science team, you will play a critical role in shaping our rider app and making business decisions that put our customers first.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable decisions
  • Design and analyze online experiments to inform product development and launch decisions
  • Establish and maintain analytical frameworks to monitor business and product performance
  • Develop and track key metrics to measure the health of our products and rider experience
Requirements
  • 6+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data science and visualization libraries in Python or R
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners
