Senior Product Designer, Rider Segments

We're seeking a senior product designer to lead design across key new strategies and initiatives, focusing on the end-to-end Rider experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with designers, engineers, researchers, marketers, data scientists, and product managers to define and create top-notch experiences that meet Rider needs.
  • Advocate for design and maintain a customer-centric culture within Lyft, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Lead and own high-priority Rider experiences across product teams, using your full range of interaction, visual, and product thinking skills.
  • Focus on growth by cultivating a profound understanding of how to streamline and enrich experiences across critical use cases.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI related fields, with experience working on web and mobile design.
  • Experience working with lean teams of engineers, product managers, and program managers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with user research methods and analysis.
  • Expertise with Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Excellence in design craft.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule, with the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is $120,000 - $150,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
