Job Summary

Warren Gibson Limited is seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers, including adjustments, replacements, and testing of parts and components.
  • Inspect mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and confirm findings with supervisors to determine the best course of action.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to discuss work and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and perform scheduled maintenance services as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification and/or equivalent experience.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and/or equivalent experience.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
