Accounts Receivable Financial Analyst Job Summary
Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities with a high level of accuracy, managing customer electronic and non-electronic payments, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform payment applications in SAP and HighRadius, and reconcile accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase the effectiveness and productivity of the department.
- Collaborate with the team to identify control gaps and recommend remediation.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement electronic solutions to increase efficiency.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related field.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to engage with business partners and contribute to excellent customer experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive rational solutions for optimal results.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating facts and making informed decisions.
- Intermediate experience with Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and Outlook).
- Data entry skills and the ability to manage large volumes of data.
- Previous experience with SAP would be considered an asset.
- Very good understanding of basic accounting principles.
