Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team as a Portfolio Performance Manager. This role will lead a team responsible for reporting the financial performance of two Segregated Funds holding a portfolio of $9.2 billion in real estate assets.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Daily Segregated Fund valuation process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of net fund values.
  • Prepare and report financial data on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to The Canada Life Assurance Company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional finance leaders to monitor and prepare account reconciliations that support financial statements.
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide in-depth financial, variance, and trending analyses, as well as value-added insights related to key returns and other financial and non-financial metrics.
Requirements
  • Professional CPA designation or enrollment in the final year of the CPA program.
  • Minimum 2 years of related working experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analytic tools.
  • Experience with Yardi and Power BI would be an asset.
