Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage our payroll processes. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the full payroll cycle, including processing payroll, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  2. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  3. Oversee accounts payable functions related to payroll processing.
  4. Utilize payworks to manage employee data and streamline payroll processes.
  5. Collaborate with sales managers to ensure accurate employee classifications and benefits deductions.
  6. Prepare reports related to payroll metrics and compliance for management review.
  7. Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  8. Train and mentor payroll staff on best practices and software usage.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll management with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and payworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account reconciliations effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments within the organization.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated at $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The job offers a range of benefits, including dental care, extended health care, on-site parking, and paid time off.
