Care Team Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Team Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Care Team Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct, hands-on care to patients and supporting their activities of daily living. You will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and support.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has a strong commitment to teamwork. You will have a Continuing Care Assistant Program certification and be registered and active with the CCA Registry. You will also have current Basic Life Support Certification and demonstrate effective listening skills and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.
HoursThis is a full-time, long-assignment position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The approximate duration of the assignment is one year.
Compensation and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $23.71 - $25.70. They may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
