About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a member of our collaborative care team, you will provide direct, hands-on care to patients based on their individual needs and program/unit requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Continuing Care Assistant Program certification
  • Provincial certification with the Department of Health and Wellness
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • Competencies in other languages, with French being an asset

If you are eligible to write the CCA knowledge exam and obtain certification within 1 year from your date of hire, we encourage you to apply.

Hours

This is a full-time, long-assignment position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The start date is in August and the end date is in May, with dates subject to change.

Compensation and Incentives

The hourly rate for this position is $23.71 - $25.70.
