Job Title: Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at ArcelorMittal Dofasco. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits to ensure compliance with our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, as well as providing recommendations for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute internal audits to ensure compliance with our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, as well as provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and provide suggestions for integrating them into our audit processes.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments as required.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or Law.
  • Professional qualifications (Chartered Accountant, CPA, CIA, CISA) or other professional qualification (Engineering, PhD, Legal) is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' internal audit experience or statutory audits with one of the Big 4.
