Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and comprehend business risks associated with client files.
  • Conduct thorough operational and quality assessments of Personal Insurance files.
  • Deliver constructive feedback to team members and management regarding audit findings.
  • Identify training needs and provide relevant recommendations.
  • Examine the quality of documentation within brokerage files.
  • Research and propose enhancements to workflow processes.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with established personal insurance workflows and procedures.
  • Review audit findings from insurers and compliance mandates.
  • Engage collaboratively with Senior Auditors, Trainers, and Management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal insurance.
  • Possession of a RIBO License or the ability to obtain one.
  • CAIB or CIP designation is considered an asset.
  • Experience in auditing operational processes to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a well-defined sense of diplomacy.
  • Ability to articulate audit results in clear and concise language.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and email.
  • Familiarity with EPIC, an Applied Systems broker management application, is advantageous.
