Job Summary

D&H BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION INC. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring that all flooring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install resilient floor coverings and hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations and remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Work Environment

As a Floor Covering Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced commercial and residential setting. You will be required to work at heights, bend, and kneel frequently.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the trade
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
