Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at D&H BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of floor coverings, including resilient flooring, hardwood flooring, and underlayment and underpadding. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlayment and underpadding
  • Install resilient floor coverings and hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
Work Environment:

This role requires working in a commercial and residential setting, with a focus on providing excellent client service.
