We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at D&H BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION INC. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing resilient floor coverings, hardwood floors, and underlay and underpadding. Key responsibilities include inspecting and measuring surfaces, reading blueprints and specifications, and estimating costs and materials. The successful candidate will be physically demanding, with a focus on client satisfaction and efficient interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
Work Environment:
  • Commercial and residential settings
  • Physically demanding work environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
