Baxter is a leading global healthcare company that is deeply committed to improving patient outcomes. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the final inspection and packing of Viaflex products using advanced automated equipment.
  • Monitor team member and machinery activities to optimize product output while minimizing costs.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Lead by example and utilize Baxter's Shared Commitment framework to drive a high-performing culture.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot automated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support to employees to resolve quality and equipment issues.
  • Schedule daily activities to ensure a consistent supply of empty sterilizer trucks to the filling department.
  • Identify and implement Value Improvement Projects to reduce product costs or improve quality.
  • Ensure all activities and products meet specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Experience within a manufacturing operation, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment trouble-shooting ability.
  • Practical experience with Lean tools, such as 6S, LSW, VM, DA, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory/corporate requirements.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing facility.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • People management experience, including coaching and team development skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and EBR/AS400/Kronos.
