Restaurant Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate records of sales, stock, and repairs.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports, communicating effectively with management and staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Food Order Management: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that orders are accurate and fulfilled efficiently.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with menu offerings and promotions.
- Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that food is presented attractively and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and that customer service is maintained.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure to meet customer demands.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
