Position Overview

As a Food Service Operations Supervisor at Lazeez Shawarma, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of our culinary team. Your leadership will ensure that our food quality and service standards are consistently met.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience in a food service environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for operational needs.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring 35 hours per week of commitment. The primary language of work will be English.
