Filling Operations Supervisor

Baxter is a leading global healthcare company that is deeply connected by its mission to save and sustain lives. As a Filling Supervisor, you will play a critical role in coordinating the filling of high-volume IV codes using sophisticated automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the activities of team members and machinery to ensure the required amount of product is filled at the least cost, consistent with quality standards and specifications.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities in the area.
- Provide documented training, coaching, and feedback to improve team members' skills and performance.
- Ensure company policies are applied consistently and fairly, and take appropriate action to correct unacceptable behaviors.
- Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment on the line(s).
- Supply technical support to employees to resolve quality and equipment issues.
- Participate in and complete NCRs and CAPAs.
- Identify and implement Value Improvement Projects to reduce product cost or improve quality.
- Ensure all activities and products are in compliance with specifications and GMPs.
- Maintain the facility and equipment to meet all GMP and 6S requirements.
- Meet financial commitments by ensuring budgeted labor standards are met and assisting in establishing budget, production standards, and manufacturing expenses.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of High School or GED.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- English, Math, Communications, and Mechanical and/or Electrical aptitude required.
- Experience within a manufacturing operation, strong mechanical aptitude, and equipment troubleshooting ability required.
- Practical experience using Lean tools (6S, LSW, VM, DA, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory/corporate requirements preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry preferred.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience required.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing facility preferred.

- People management experience, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Strong ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take a leading role in the continuous improvement cycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and EBR.
- Good working knowledge of SOPs/specs, blueprints, PCSs, and BOMs.
