About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Jag's MJM Furniture Showcase Ltd dba Jag's Furniture & Mattress. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for leading our store staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Ensure that all returns are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for store staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service and promote sales of our products to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising reports, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a professional and timely manner.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that stock is properly stored and displayed.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate store staff to achieve sales and operational goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
