Senior SharePoint Solutions Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. SharePoint Developer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the SharePoint platform to meet business requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including SharePoint Online (Office 365) and SharePoint Server, as well as related technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, and SharePoint REST API.
A successful Sr. SharePoint Developer at Medavie Blue Cross will be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions, possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement customized SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements.
- Familiarize yourself with SharePoint versions, including SharePoint Online and on-premises versions.
- Understand SharePoint security models and how to manage permissions and access control.
- Learn how to use SharePoint Designer, although not as commonly used as in the past, it can still be useful for certain tasks.
- Leverage SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to create client-side web parts and extensions for SharePoint.
- Maintain and update existing SharePoint solutions to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) prior to your start date.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
Location: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, PEI, Ontario - Remote.
