About Your New Role

The Controller will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of finance professionals and working closely with senior leaders to grow the business. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Develop and implement the Company's financial strategy and report on financial objectives and key results.
  • Closely monitor Herschel's financial health and maintain, manage, and analyze financial statements, payroll, budgets, tax compliance issues, and more.
Key Responsibilities

The Controller is responsible for direct supervision of all accounting and financial functions, including:

  • Management of the general ledger, supervision of the monthly close process, accounting and reporting of inventory, and overseeing tax compliance.
  • Collaborative building of a team of highly engaged finance professionals and being a strategic and financial advisor to the executive team and business owners across the company.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions for all global entities.
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements.
About You
  • 7+ years of financial accounting, reporting, and management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA, CA designation required.
  • Public Practice experience from a Big 4 Firm at an assurance manager level.
