About this role
We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator, Controls to join our Technology Controls team in our Burnaby office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while dispatching, coordinating, and supporting technical teams in the delivery of technical support services for our valued customers.

Please note, this is NOT an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY role.

Your responsibilities

- Provide consistent and high-quality customer service and administrative support
- Receive phone calls and emails from customers requesting work
- Collaborate with customers to complete initial investigation and assess support requests, and determine solutions
- Prioritize service requests, schedule and dispatch service technicians
- Create work orders, manage through to completion, and handle billing process
- Track and expedite material orders as required
- Coordinate and follow up with technical staff to complete work orders
- Prepare list of follow up recommended service actions for customers

Your experience and skills

- 4+ years of experience in a similar administrative support/customer service role coordinating service requests and dispatching technicians
- Experience with material ordering, tracking, billing, and reporting
- Basic knowledge of Building Control Systems
- Flexible with the proven ability to multitask in a changing, fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), JDE or other CRM systems, an asset
- Proven teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work
- Positive attitude with a patient and calm nature

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
