About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Canadian Banking Branch network, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and building strong relationships with small business owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of high-value and complex small business owner relationships to achieve retention and negotiated goals.
  • Create a strong presence within the local business community by developing relationships with various Centres of Influence.
  • Proactively engage with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive advice.
  • Partner with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment.
Requirements
  • Results-oriented attitude and sound knowledge of the small business market.
  • Excellent business development techniques and conversance with small business legal structures and life cycles.
  • Strong relationship builder and communicator with good organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
