Job Title: Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Prestige Harbourfront Resort Salmon Arm.

Job Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture; make beds and change sheets; distribute clean towels and toiletries; stock linen closet; clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items; attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items; provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers; wash windows, walls, and ceilings; clean changing rooms and showers.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina and be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
