About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Prestige Harbourfront Resort Salmon Arm. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities, address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and standing for extended periods.
