Job Description:

This role requires a solid understanding of security best practices, industry regulations, and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in IT security and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new projects to ensure appropriate security controls are in place.
  • Integrate security measures into ongoing projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments of third-party vendors, suppliers, and partners to evaluate their compliance with established security policies, regulations, contracts, and industry best practices.
  • Lead training sessions to educate employees on security best practices, including phishing prevention and other forms of cyberattacks.
  • Help manage the internal IT operations for Akur8's offices in North America.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of postgraduate experience in Information Security.
  • Deep understanding of Risk Assessment, Risk Management, Security Compliance, Security of SaaS Applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical and functional matters with diverse audiences.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English - French is a plus.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
