Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team as an Automotive Systems Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading-edge technologies and contribute to the development of secure automotive systems.

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance on cybersecurity best practices and ensuring that our automotive systems meet the highest security standards. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks and management systems that protect our clients' sensitive information and ensure the integrity of their systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Cybersecurity Frameworks: Create and deploy robust cybersecurity frameworks that align with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 21434 and IEC 62443.
  • Cybersecurity Coaching and Training: Provide in-depth training and coaching to our automotive system and software development teams to enhance their understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Gap Analysis and Compliance: Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify areas where our clients' current development processes deviate from applicable cybersecurity standard requirements.
  • Process Reviews and Risk Analysis: Conduct regular reviews of processes, tools, and methods to ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) requirements, as well as prepare risk analysis reports in accordance with ISO 21434 and IEC 62443.
  • Participate in Technical Discussions: Engage in technical discussions as part of business development efforts to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the automotive cybersecurity market.
  • Guidance on Cybersecurity Testing: Provide expert guidance on performing cybersecurity testing-related activities, including penetration testing, fuzz testing, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Test Plan Development and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans for cybersecurity aspects, such as but not limited to, penetration testing, fuzz testing, and vulnerability analysis.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Cybersecurity and relevant disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in systems engineering in domains such as automotive, aerospace, medical, and nuclear.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Strong knowledge of ASPICE/QMS and cybersecurity, with experience in developing cybersecurity frameworks and management systems.
  • Industry Standards: Knowledge of industry standards such as J3061, ISO 21434, IEC 62443, or other similar cybersecurity standards.
  • Embedded Systems Experience: Experience in implementing cybersecurity solutions in embedded systems, such as hardware security modules (HSM), secure boot, secure diagnostic, secure on-board communication, and secure end-to-end architecture.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Knowledge and experience in testing system and software in the context of cybersecurity threats.
