About the Opportunity

The Interventional Technologist plays a critical role in the operation of radiological equipment, performing procedures for medical diagnosis. This includes assessing requisitions, obtaining patient history, and selecting techniques for quality imaging. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of radiological procedures, aseptic technique, and radiation safety. Additionally, they will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in radiological technology. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Radiological Technology, Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification, and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure. Angiography experience and CAMRT Interventional Radiology courses are considered assets. The successful candidate will also possess knowledge of Interventional Radiology Procedures, CPR qualifications, and aseptic technique. A high degree of mental and visual acuity, as well as reasonable manual dexterity, is required for this role.

Hours
  • Short Assignment, Full-time; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Approximately 6 months
  • Shifts are 7.5 and 10 hour shifts with callback evenings, nights, and weekends
Compensation and Benefits

$34.24 - $39.96 hourly
