Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team at Providence Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the introduction of DevOps practices across various teams, including Software Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud platforms, automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes. You will lead change management initiatives, guide teams through process transitions, and ensure minimal disruption while promoting successful adoption of DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads the adoption of DevOps practices across teams, introducing automation, CI/CD processes, and tools
- Drives cultural and procedural change to support iterative and reliable software delivery
- Provides leadership and guidance to the DevOps Enablement team, using effective management techniques to establish work expectations and evaluate performance
- Ensures production system performance is continuously analyzed, prioritizing improvements or optimizations based on metrics and client feedback
- Selects and deploys monitoring tools to identify and address potential issues proactively
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 7 years of recent and related experience in an information systems technical environment
- Experience in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services cloud platforms, with DevOps certifications desirable
- Proven ability to apply systems thinking, identifying patterns, connections, and interdependencies to align strategy with implementation
