About the Opportunity:
Located in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Providence Health Care is a leading teaching and research organization, providing exceptional patient-centered care to marginalized communities. We are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps Enablement team, driving innovation and excellence in software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the adoption of DevOps practices across teams, including Software Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation strategies.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve complex technical issues and ensure effective handovers.
• Oversee the transition of new software solutions from test to production environments, ensuring smooth deployment and decommissioning of existing solutions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the DevOps Enablement team, using effective management techniques to establish work expectations and evaluate performance.

Requirements:
A Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 7 years' experience in an information systems technical environment. Proven expertise in DevOps, Agile Software Development, Continuous Delivery Pipelines, cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services), and automation. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services cloud platforms. DevOps Certifications in Azure and/or AWS desirable. Ability to apply systems thinking, identify patterns, connections, and interdependencies to align strategy with implementation. Expertise in designated software application(s) and ability to support, maintain, and administer complex applications as a subject matter expert. Demonstrated troubleshooting knowledge on database management, data querying, and reporting.
