Caregiver Responsibilities
- Providing assistance with personal care and medications, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our clients at all times.
- Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services, promoting healthy living and comfort in the client's own home.
- Offering companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful relationships and a sense of community.
- Assisting with medical escort services, ensuring safe and reliable transportation to appointments and destinations.
- Offering Companionship and engaging activities to stimulate mental and physical well-being.
- Assisting with medication management, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely administration.
Competencies and Qualifications
- Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and adaptability in diverse care situations.
- Willingness to work both short and long shifts, prioritizing flexibility and reliability in meeting client needs.
- Possession of a Care Aide certificate and BC registry number, enhancing credibility and expertise in caregiving.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude, embodying the Classic LifeCare values of compassion and respect.
- Willingness to commute to designated locations, ensuring timely arrival and provision of quality care.
- A clean criminal record check, upholding the trust and confidence placed in our caregivers.
- Possession of a driver's license (considered an asset), expanding mobility and access to care services.
