Key Responsibilities:- Independent carriage of a full caseload of Accident Benefits litigation
- Handle interesting and complex files with high degree of personal ethics, integrity, and responsibility
- Provide expert advice to the Claims department on Accident Benefits litigation strategy and file handling
- At least 6+ years of litigation experience, especially in Accident Benefits litigation
- Strong commitment to coaching and mentoring developing lawyers
- Passion for finding better ways
- Empathy and ability to motivate others
- High degree of personal ethics, integrity, and responsibility
- Team player, adaptable to changing environment
- Law Degree from an accredited law school (LLB or Juris Doctor)
- Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario to practice law as a lawyer in Ontario
- Estimated salary range: $97,000 - $178,800 per year
