Retail Store Supervisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Reddy's Your Independent Grocer.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position working 35 to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of 5-10 employees.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for training to be provided.
- Establish work schedules to ensure efficient operation of the store.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Manage cash and other financial transactions accurately.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee progress and provide feedback.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
