Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Reddy's Your Independent Grocer. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cashiers and ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop the skills of our cashiers to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage Cash: Oversee the handling of cash and ensure that our store's cash handling procedures are followed.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review the performance of our cashiers and provide feedback and coaching to help them improve.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.
- Accurate: Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a client-focused attitude.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Organized: Maintain a high level of organization and productivity in your work.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and dependability in your work.
- Dependability: Be dependable and responsible in your work.
- Initiative: Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to your work.
- Health Care Plan: Participate in our health care plan and contribute to the well-being of our team members.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English or French.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
