About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reporting Specialist to join our team at Haleon. As a key member of our financial reporting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reports that meet the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Deliver a complete, accurate, and timely set of IFRS financial reports for an entity or cluster of smaller entities.
  • Month-End Close: Oversee the month-end-close activities carried out by our partner BPO, ensuring they are robust and efficient.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with ICFW and SOX requirements, driving control remediation where necessary.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Review and drive quality of Balance Sheet Reconciliations prepared by the BPO, resolving open items and assessing BS healthiness.
  • Process Improvement: Support process improvements in areas under your remit, resolve deficiencies, and lead overall performance.
  • Analyses and Deliverables: Produce routine analyses, schedules, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders, and prepare audit deliverables as required.

Requirements

  • Accounting Degree: Hold an accounting degree or qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Have 4 years of post-qualification experience or post-degree experience in Financial Reporting or Audit Firm.
  • IFRS and SOX: Have practical experience with IFRS and experience of working in a Control/SOX environment.
  • Excel Skills: Possess strong Excel skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Language: Be fluent in English (minimum C1 level).
