Your Opportunity:
At Alberta Health Services, we are dedicated to enhancing care in the community, helping people be healthy, well, and independent in their homes and communities. Our Home Living team is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide professional support services in the homes of clients of all ages and stages of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and deliver appropriate therapeutic nursing services within professional practice standards.
- Coordinate resources and establish goals for client delivery and evaluation of outcomes.
- Provide case management and direct client care that meets established clinical standards, and is evidence-based and client-centered.
- Collaborate with family and other partners to provide clinical expertise and direction to other team members regarding client cases.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
- Palliative care experience.
- Previous Continuing Care and/or geriatric experience.
- Experience with Meditech, Connect Care, and the RAI Home Care assessment tool.
